| I've been back at Roberts now for exactly two weeks. Its freezing cold here, and it snows now and again. I'm living in a big old townhouse....and you may view pictures of that on my facebook site. I love it...and I live with four other dear friends of mine. We have huge rooms and we've filled them beautifully! WE have a downstairs kitchen and living room too. :o) And I have a plant in my room. The LORD is so gracious in all the things he gives to me. Even the fact that we've been able to go to a Christian college and learn lots here.

| Well world....I'm back from Urbana 2006. I'm sure about 22,000 people are now home from it, and all sorta wishing they were still there. Incredible experience. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I think I was stretched in so many ways. 25% of Urbana was Asian! I wasn't expecting that...it was awesome...we took over every hotel in downtown St. Louis, as well as all the ones out by the airport a half hour away. We took over the Ram's America's Center for worship and speakers, and probably for the first time every in its history had 22,000 people under 25 years of age on their knees on its field praying and singing to the LORD. We experienced so many parts of the world church from just the 140 countries represented there, with every state in the US and every province in Canada accounted for. We sang in Korean, Chinese, French, African languages, and Spanish. We had an African princess with Aids speak to us, a Kenyan leader in full garb speak to us, Rick Warren, our very own Jim Tebbe, many intervarsity testimonies, and the great Bible preacher from Sri Lanka, Ajith Fernando. It was really great. I met some people who really cared about Muslims and the Middle East....and it was just so encouraging. There were 270 missions organizations exhibiting there. And here are the people I ran into while I was there: Derek Wickwire and family Chris and Ben Faroe, Liz and Susan Sutton, with parents and a boyfriend Andrew Tebbe, and his parents Talitha Brauer Julianne Armstrong Chris Adams and his dad Kimberly Schreiber, Rico Arocha Dan and Michelle Tebbe with cute baby Hannah, Sunny from Sonne, Joyce Teo Petek Altug, Deanne Thorsvik, and some more I'm sure, but I can't remember..it was great. :o) | | |
| Wow...I'm sorry. It's been a really long time since I last wrote. I guess almost a month now. I'm now heading into my last few weeks with my family here in Chicago. I had my last exam this week. I had my last day at Crossway Books and BIbles yesterday. I had my last bible study with our wonderful little group, and this Sunday will be my last at Bethany Chapel. I came here after about 2 months of CONTINUAL travel around Russia, Germany, England, and then furloughing..and by the time I arrived, though i LOVE to fly and travel, I was actually sick and tired of not having a place that I wanted to settle down in. I didn't some sort of shallow roots at least. And I planned to do that out here, since I always knew I couldn't be permanent in Rochester. And I really have felt a peace about allowing my self to feel able to settle down. I think I sometimes don't want to do that. Typical MK I guess. I almost cried leaving Crossway. I enjoyed working there a lot, more than Tyndale...except, they were both good now that i think about it. I would like to be hired after I graduate from Crossway though. And I switched BIble traslations, from NIV to ESV. I honestly feel so happy with that. :o) My grandparents drove out here from NJ, and we're waiting for our cousins coming from NC. I'm glad. We had Thanksgiving at our house, and now we're having Christmas now here too. Tons of people, I like it. And right after people go, I'll be heading off to Urbana 2006. That's exciting to me. Ok..gotta go. If you just read this, COMMENT. :o) So I know I'm not writing to no one.
